POWER POINT WALK THROUGH

To begin open up Microsoft Power Point and begin by using a new slide-choose the blank template, which is easier to format to your needs.

Next go to insert and insert text box-this will let you insert any text you need for your slide, drag the text box across the length of the slide and hit center text. This will center your text across the slide.

If you want to insert a graphic go to insert and click on insert picture from file. If saved from your A drive click on it and open any graphic from which you have saved on your disk-you can also insert graphics from the internet, just right click on the graphic you have found on the net and copy it. Then click back into power point and paste it into your slide.

To create a new slide go to insert and clicking new slide-again use the blank template and follow the steps above.

To view slide show go to slide show and clicking view show- you can use different transitions for your slide show by going to slide show and clicking on slide transitions, then its a matter of choosing the one that you want.

Lastly, like I stated in class, this program is easy to use and just takes a little time to familiarize oneself to its features.
