As I came down Warren Street, looking for the corner where my group would be meeting, I had no idea where I was.  I am from Iowa, and Mankato, Minnesota is not a familiar town to me.  I was scared that I would miss the whole session because I wouldn’t be able to find the meeting place! I saw the other students gathering outside the building and I let out a big sigh of relief.  Finally, I knew I wasn’t lost!   When I decided to come to school in Mankato, I knew that this town was neat.  I think the campus is beautiful and the old downtown just amazes me.  But what I didn’t know was how intricate and elaborate the buildings and streets were designed.   We started the tour going uphill.  I thought to myself, “this might end up to be very interesting.” My major here at Minnesota State University is construction management.  After I get my degree, I plan to go to Iowa State University to get my masters in architecture.  So, one could see how I find buildings and designs very interesting.
